Dell Veteran to Build Channel and Partner Sales Programs
BOSTON, August 9, 2022 – Onepak, creator of the first return logistics platform that powers the circular economy, today announced the appointment of Doug Hughes to the position of Vice President, Sales Operations. In this new role, Hughes will oversee the company’s sales operation, as well as channel and partner sales efforts and key account management.
Previously, Hughes held a variety of senior positions at Dell, Inc., most recently as Global Operations Director, Security Risk Consulting with Dell Secureworks. In that role, Hughes managed global operation for the Secureworks IT security consulting business where he built and managed a $10 million sales pipeline and drove 25% cost reduction across the organization. He has also held senior customer success roles at Dell where he was responsible for a 110-person professional services team in North America and Latin America and delivered measurable cost and process improvements, as well as significantly boosted NPS scores and retention rates among Dell customers.
During his lengthy career at Dell, Hughes also held senior positions in Asset Recovery Services. He has managed 13 logistics and environmental partners for Asset Recovery Services across all commercial segments and drove growth in revenue, margin, unit attainment and project management in large and medium size corporate segments for the company.
Prior to Dell, Hughes was National Account Manager and Customer Operations Manager with Esselte Americas, a manufacturer and marketer of office products and business supplies with subsidiaries in 25 countries and sales in over 120 countries. He was also Demand and Deployment Planner at Nabisco foods where he drove down logistics and transport costs and improved on-time delivery and inventory management efficiencies.

Hughes is Certified Information Security Management (CISM) and Six Sigma Green Belt certified. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science degree in business logistics and international business from Pennsylvania State University.
